Awareness
More and more people are connecting the dots and realizing that the society we live in is not what it seems. Once you see it, you cannot unsee it. This is where the process of awakening and development begins. It is not an easy process, because when you investigate, you often come to the conclusion that you have held onto values that differ from your initial assumptions.
Often, old values no longer resonate, but the new values are not yet clear either.
We, too, have embarked on this process and therefore wish to contribute to enlightening and supporting others on this journey to a new consciousness.

A changing world.
A once rapidly changing society increasingly shows that familiar values no longer hold. This requires more and more adjustment and for many people this goes against their self-esteem. This gives the feeling of not being in touch with these new imposed values. This is what I call the beginning of awakening.
A process in which you say goodbye to the old and look for the "new". This process is not easy and is accompanied by sacrifices and uncertainty. Yet this process is worth it, once you know that the old no longer suits you, you cannot go back.
In this process I thought back to my previous experiences with psychedelics. I've used this a number of times when i was young, purely recreationally. I experienced this as something fun, but I also remembered the clear insights it provided, the intense conversations with friends about nature and the game of life that we have been involved in since birth.

Alienation
With your new insights you often no longer feel connected to your work, people around you and superficialities that you used to feel comfortable with. You have the feeling that you no longer want to participate in matters and people that no longer match your new insights. This is difficult because these things have been connected to you for a long time. You also get to know new people who are also awakening or are already further along in the process. You feel increasingly connected to nature, probably because you see that nature is beautiful and a stable factor in our lives.
This process also happened to me at the beginning of this millennium. More and more often there were events, attacks and wars where I wondered how could this happen and is it as people say it is? By investigating, it became increasingly clear that my feelings were not letting me down, the world as I came to know it certainly looked different from how it appeared.
I felt this very strongly at the beginning of 2020, the world shut down and I saw many people who were completely swept up in the pandemic story. Logic failed for many. People started dictating the laws to each other, snitching on each other and ruthlessly condemning each other without any knowledge of the facts. I had a lot of trouble with this, and couldn't understand how people changed so quickly and behaved so badly. Society became alienated and I lost touch with everything and everyone who participated in this.

Realize
You slowly come to realize that life is about other things such as materialism, stroking our ego and having a career.
It's about who you are, what is the real purpose of life? Why are we here in this world and what is our connection with nature. Why do we learn so little about this? And what is our history, because if many things in the present are not as they are presented, then our history will probably not be correct either. These questions make the process of awakening intensive and interesting. As if we have to start over again.
These questions inspired me enormously and created an urge for inner change. First of all, I quit my job, it no longer resonated. I had a great career in the yachting industry. Internally there was discussion about the luxury industry. I sold very expensive dreams to people who were willing to pay a lot of money for them. This no longer matched my feelings and image of society.
I moved with my family from the busy Netherlands to the beautiful nature of northwest Spain, to be able to live there with more connection to nature and fewer people. This gave me time and space to further investigate where I wanted to go. I came to realize that I would like to contribute to change by helping others who are in the process of becoming aware and looking for a new path. I want to share with them the clear insights you can gain by using psychedelics.
